IEE China with Peking University

Meeting Time: Fall Break 2017

IEE China with Peking University

IEE Program Peking University in Beijing, China. The 10-day program takes places over Fall Break on a yearly basis with business case competition at the end of the program.

This project allows Notre Dame students to travel to Beijing, China to work with students from Peking University, the most prestigious educational institutions in China. Students will have the opportunity to work with foreign students on a business case study regarding current economic and financial issues and will present their findings at a case competition at the end of the program. Students from both universities will also visit various Chinese scenic spots in Beijing, as well as several firms in China’s financial service industry.

IBE India with St. Xavier’s College

IBE India with St. Xavier’s College

IBE Program to India includes taking classes at St. Xaviers', working with alumni and local businesses, and visiting the Bombay Stock Exchange. The 10-day program takes places over Winter Break on a yearly basis.

IEE Mexico with Monterrey Institute of Technology

IEE Mexico with Monterrey Institute of Technology

IEE program with Monterrey TEC occurs on a biyearly basis and involves taking part in a university-sponsored business case competition while visiting in Monterrey, Mexico. In 2017, SIBC will host the program in September at Notre Dame.

This project allows Notre Dame students to travel to Monterrey, Mexico to work with students from Monterrey Institute of Technology, one of the most prestigious educational institutions in Mexico. Students will have the opportunity to work with foreign students on a business case study regarding current economic and financial issues and will present their findings at a case competition at the end of the program.

IEE Panama with USMA

IEE Panama with USMA

IEE program with la Universidad Santa Maria La Antigua, involves travel to Panama, Panama typically for 5-10 days in May. In 2017, SIBC will host the program in TBD at Notre Dame.


This project allows Notre Dame students to travel to Panama to work with students from USMA, one of Panama's most prestigious private universities, and further promote SIBC's mission of Peace through Commerce. Students will collaborate with USMA students on a business case study regarding current domestic and international issues and will present their findings at a case competition at the end of the week. Students from both universities will also visit major firms in Panama City and network with successful professionals in various fields.

Panama also has one of the largest Notre Dame Alumni networks outside of the U.S. and students will have the opportunity to meet with many of them throughout the trip. Panama is a beautiful and exciting city to be in, and students will have the opportunity to sight see, eat local food, and immerse themselves in the Panamanian culture.
