Interns will engage in both social entrepreneurship education and fieldwork, while being immersed in the Spanish language and culture. Topics covered in the social entrepreneurship education include analysis of current development solutions, use of the Logic Model Framework, needs assessment practices, in-depth discussions bout the MicroConsignment Model, analysis of microfinance solutions, keys to effective social entrepreneurship, and case studies of select development organizations and projects. Following these dynamic discussions, participants will engage in social entrepreneurship fieldwork alongside members of the Social Entrepreneur Corps team. Program fees (including housing), flights, vaccinations, and visas will be covered by the SIBC. No prior experience, major, or language requirements to apply.
